From AAPD:On, June 20, 2010 the Senate unanimously confirmed MEAF-AAPD Congressional Intern Alumnus, Ari Ne'eman, to serve on the National Council on Disability alongside President Obama's seven other nominees. Founder and President of the Autistic Self-Advocacy Network (ASAN), Mr. Ne'eman will be the first autistic person to serve on NCD, and his confirmation has been eagerly anticipated by the self-advocacy community since his nomination last December.
