RSC seeking proposals for new VR partnerships
COLUMBUS, OH (May 5, 2010) - The Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission (RSC) is accepting proposals for projects that will help coordinate specialized, long-term local services for Ohioans with disabilities.
These projects must be partnerships between RSC and state/local government entities or state/local agencies skilled in providing vocational rehabilitation services to individuals with the most significant disabilities. Applicants must demonstrate in their proposals that they are appropriately accredited in accordance with federal and state regulations to provide the proposed vocational rehabilitation services.
Proposals must be submitted to RSC by 5 p.m. on June 30, 2010. A copy of the request for proposals is available at www.rsc.ohio.gov.
For more information about proposal submission, contact Leslie Minnich at 614-438-1213 or leslie.minnich@rsc.state.oh.us.q2w3
The agency is specifically looking for creative vocational rehabilitation proposals that will increase the number of Ohio citizens with the most significant disabilities securing and sustaining employment. Projects should target specific specialized populations (i.e., disability groups) to be served within a particular geographic area.
