Seth Harris Confirmation Hearing for Deputy Secretary of Labor May 7, 2009 10:00 am

JFA Member,

President Obama has nominated Seth Harris to be the next Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Labor.  His confirmation hearing is scheduled to go before the Senate on Thursday May 7, 2009 at 10:00am.

As many of you know, Seth has been a strong advocate for people with disabilities.  He has championed multiple employment and labor initiatives in and out of government to advance employment opportunities for people with disabilities.  He provided essential leadership to the Presidential Task Force on the Employment of Adults with Disabilities, which I co chaired with the Secretary of Labor.

Now it is our opportunity to support Seth and champion his work on behalf of the disability community by attending his confirmation hearing.  I ask you to join me in showing your support by getting our friends and family in the disability community to attend his confirmation hearing.

Please join me in supporting the next Deputy Secretary of Labor Seth Harris who is committed to advancing competitive employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

It would be nice to have a link to contact Seth or at least have something that Seth is doing to help. There are tons of people that are being paid by our taxes, that are HARMING the pwd. Is one of them? Specifically, what is he doing to help? I'm in need of help. PLEASE CONTACT ME.
