McCain Confirms Participation in Disability Forum!

Senator_john_mccain BREAKING NEWS!
Near close of business yesterday, the campaign staff of John McCain for President confirmed by phone with AAPD that Senator John McCain (R-AZ) , presumptive nominee for the Republican party, will be participating in the National Forum on Disability Issues in Columbus, Ohio on the 18th Anniversary of the ADA (July 26, 2008) via satellite link from Arizona.

The Senator will first give a speech, providing his vision for disability policy in America, followed by questions asked by the event's moderator, esteemed journalist Judy Woodruff ("The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer," PBS).
Senator McCain is the first to confirm his participation in this forum. We continue to encourage advocates to encourage Senator Obama to likewise confirm his own participation in this event.

I respect the choice of Senator McCain to attend the disability forum. This is an important vote getter for the candidate that addresses these issues! I'm one of them!
