Promises, Promises - Candidates' Promises on Disability Policy

Senator_hillary_clinton_dny_address Read a list of the promises candidates (many since withdrawn) made to the community in  November, based upon the transcript from the National Forum on Equality, Opportunity, and Access.

While many will not make it to the White  House, several are still Members of Congress. Remind them of their "commitments" whenever you can!

when is everyone going to realize these media darlings are going to say anything and everything to get the vote of the disability community? but no one is asking HOW and IF they can deliver it?

Why doesn't this list include Mr. Obama?

Dan, Obama's not on the list because he didn't participate in our November forum. If you go to the Presidential Election Action Center (http://www.aapd.com/News/election/peac2008.php) and click on Obama's picture, you can see what he has said on disability to date.
