Biden and Kucinich Confirm Participation in Disability Forum

Joseph_bidenDennis_kucinich_2 Just hours ago, Senator Joe Biden (D-DE) (pictured left) and Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) (pictured right) confirmed their attendance at the "National Forum on Equality, Opportunity, and Access," a presidential candidates forum on disability policy scheduled for November 2 in Manchester, New Hampshire, of which AAPD is a co-sponsor (along with 22 other national sponsors).

In addition to Biden and Kucinich, Senator Chris Dodd (D-CT) will also attend, having confirmed his attendance first, nearly a month ago. Several other campaigns are expected to deliver a "yes" or "no" for the event soon, and we may have breaking news to share over the weekend.

Read more about the forum.

Read about how you can join the event remotely via webcast.

[NOTE: A schedule of the event, for those who can only "tune in" to the webcast for part of the day, will be made available soon.]
